Persian Dance 5 Week Course w/ Nikki K, option to Perform in a professional show February 9th Dear Students - Please read carefully to the end! This course is only available In-Studio (In-Person) ❤︎ Experience the joys of performance in Persian dance with Nikki Farahanchi (@nikki.dancee) this January. Inspired by her summer travels to Iran growing up, Nikki has dedicated the last seven years of her life to researching, instructing, and performing the art of Persian dance for her community. In this specialty 5-week course, you will have the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in formal Persian dance technique and expression amongst other dedicated Persian dance artists. Each week, you will train in new Persian dance movements from Classical to Bandari dance styles that will blossom into a gorgeous choreography to be performed for your close friends and loved ones on stage on February 9th! Whether you are a beginner or advanced dancer, you are warmly welcomed to hop into the enchanting realm of Persian dance. In this 5-week course, you will master a fabulous intermediate Persian choreography, experience performing on stage, and build a close network of lasting friendships.  • DATES: Friday January 10th 6:30-8PM (Integration - Lesson 1) Monday January 13th, 20th, 27th & February 3rd (Lesson 2-5) • EXPERIENCE LEVEL Open/Beginners Welcomed | Intermediate Level Choreography • TIME: 7:00 - 8:30PM • LOCATION: Ripley-Grier Studios - 520 8th Ave, New York • PRICE: Early Bird (by Dec 31): $140 Regular: $175 Any additional rehearsals necessary and agreed upon with Nikki and dancers will incur a studio fee around $10-$15 per dancer. • COSTUMES: will mostly be provided and worked on together. • STUDIO ROOM : TBA | Nikki will send an email with details the afternoon of your class - and/or check the monitors on floor 16 and 17 of Ripley-Grier. “JBelly’s School of RAQ: Janelle Bellydance" ---- • INSTRUCTOR BIO: Please read about Nikki on the About Page! • STUDIO POLICY: Required to present a photo id at the front desk when entering the building, do not enter the studio room without your Instructor. • NO SHOW/CANCELLATION POLICY: Due to high studio prices refunds are not given for missed classes.
